Dream Big -- Read will run between June 14 and July 27 this year, with a special kick-off event on June 12. Click here for a copy of the flyer. Online registration will be available May 28, followed by paper registration on May 29 (the library is closed on May 28). We offer programs for preK - 8th grade on Thursdays this summer.

Join us and the Friends of the Library for a special Bedtime Storytime on Monday, May 21st at 6 p.m. Author Bill Smith will read his new book, Chickadees at Night and will be available to sign books purchased at the event. Kids, wear your pajamas! A bedtime snack will be provided.
The Albertson Memorial Library has a Nook! Our simple touch e-reader is pre-loaded with fiction, non-fiction, romance novels, and some classics. More e-books will be purchased throughout the year. You may also use it to borrow e-books from the Wisconsin Digital Library. Check it out today!
The 2nd Annual Green County Reads began in April. This month, join others who have read or are reading A Map of the World by Jane Hamilton at the film screening on Thursday, May 10th at Monroe Public Library, and at the author's presentation on Thursday, May 17th at Monroe Arts Center. Book discussions continue at other Green County libraries this month. See flyer for details.
